"What is the difference between booking with My Honeymoon Specialist versus the Resort?
In a short sentence, a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. As far as price, none because we will price match
but in terms of benefits, A TON!. As we say "Discover the Distinction". We know the world of travel,
so while it will cost you the same, why not get the most for the money you are spending?
What are some of the Extras that we will get?
All of our resorts offer us honeymoon amenities that we can pass onto. Some are only available
through My Honeymoon Specialist so while you will always get what the resort offers, when you book
with us, you get MORE!
Is there a booking fee?
Nope! Book your room without any booking fees. You can book online or over the phone (whatever your preference).
If booking over the phone just let us know what resort, room category and dates and we will be happy to book it for you.
If you find the price lower elsewhere before you book, we'll be happy to put in a request for a price match. If you are not sure about the location and / or resort, complete the application with the $150 retainer. This retainer will go towards your room upon
final payment (so again, no booking fees).
Can I Book Online?
Absolutely. If you would prefer to book online, we offer that option as well. The best thing is that you will still be represented by My Honeymoon Specialist as a guest at the resort. There are no booking fees to book online either!
What is travel insurance and what does it cover?
Travel insurance will protect the money you are spending in case you have to cancel.
There are variations of what is offered depending upon what plan you choose but basically it
covers you in case you, your fiance or even a family member not traveling with you gets sick.
It also covers other things such as weather, jury duty, if you get sick while you are away and more.
Do I have to pay for my trip all at once or can I confirm a reservation with a deposit?
You can confirm your reservation with a deposit. If you would like to make a payment plan,
we can set that up for you as well.
What happens if I have to cancel my trip?
Depending upon the timeframe of cancellation will determine the penalties.
The closer you are to the departure date the harder it becomes for
the resort to resell the space; thereofore the stricter the penalites.
Cancellation penalties do vary, but we will spell them out for you prior to your
deposit. If you are covered by travel insurance, then you are protected if you need
to cancel for a covered reason.
Are there any change fees?
Again, depending upon which resort and how you book, the change fees can
vary. It's important that you are aware of this just in case you have to
change your dates, room category or even resort. Here again we'll advise
any of the change fees prior to deposit and give you the options on
how to book in order to avoid change fees as well.
Can my final payment be extended?
If you need an extension on your final payment, we will be glad to put the request in
however, there will be a $25.00 late fee. Keep in mind that this will not change
the timeline of your cancellation penalties.
